The charity show-match Lockdown Games seemed like a walk in the park for six-time PBA Most Valuable Player June Mar Fajardo and his squad.

With a more team-fight oriented draft, team Fajardo dominated Marc Pingris and his gang, 70-30, in a match which lasted for 44 minutes.

The Dota 2 showdown between the two all-star teams aimed to raise funds for the COVID-19 frontliners of the PGH Medical Foundation Inc.

Fajardo was with NLEX superstar Kiefer Ravena, Dota 2 professional players in Djardel “DJ” Mampusti of Fnatic and Armel “Armel” of TNC Predator, and WomboXcombo (WXC) broadcast manager Michael Angelo “Alo” Zomil.

The team-fight oriented draft featured picks of Jakiro, Death Prophet, Tiny, Pudge, and Dwarven Sniper as their main hitter.

On the other hand, Pingris teamed up with Brgy. Ginebra star forward Japeth Aguilar, pro gamers Carlo “Kuku” Palad of GeekFam and Tinothy “Tims” Randrup of TNC and WXC founder Nico “KuyaNic” Nazario.

Pingris’ team relied more on the heavy physical damage and the late-game prowess of Ursa, Nature’s Prophet, Bristleback, Legion Commander, and Chaos Knight.

Team Fajardo countered by applying constant pressure, using their disables and spells to keep team Pingris at a distance and effectively negated their physical damage.

The livestream ended with the fund-raising event reaching 561,439 pesos which will be donated to the PGH Medical Foundation Inc.
