BACOLOD City – Three persons, including a teenager, were arrested in a buy-bust operation that allegedly yielded 157 grams of suspected shabu worth P1,067,600 at Purok Progress Village 2, Barangay Vista Alegre here yesterday.

Police identified the subject as Christian Gayoso, 24, while his alleged cohort were his stepbrother Lance Bawiga, 18, and Gayoso’s brother-in-law Jason Bayson, 29.

Gayoso is an alleged high-value individual, while Bawiga and Bayson were street level individuals, according to the police.

Captain Joven Mogato, head of the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU), said they have monitored the suspect after his older brother was arrested for a drug offense in September last year.

Mogato said the suspect’s companions were his alleged runners in the illegal drug trade.

Police recovered from them the P10,000 marked money and P300.

Drug charges are being readied against the suspects.
