Terrence Romeo is back.

After suffering an injury during San Miguel Beermen’s game against the Phoenix Super LPG, prolific scorer Romeo is now back with the team and is now under quarantine in Pampanga.

San Miguel’s head coach Leo Austria was the one who confirmed Romeo’s arrival in the PBA semi-bubble and added that he just needs to finish his quarantine to receive his playing clearance.

“Terrence is already here in the hotel. He needs two days of quarantine. Hopefully, next game makapag-practice na siya o next practices namin,” Austria said.

Romeo was brought back to Manila for further testing of his Achilles which was feared to have a slight tear but final results showed that all ligaments were intact.

However, Romeo is still experiencing slight pain on his right foot but is reportedly ready to play for the Beermen after clearing protocols.

Romeo’s addition will be huge for the Beermen especially that veteran Alex Cabagnot, who is also coming from an injury, already suited up for the team.

“Just in time, nakabalik ‘yung isa sa kanila. Hopefully, makabalik din ‘yung isa, magsabay,” added Austria.

The Beermen are hoping to have Romeo back on September 30 when they battle the NorthPort Batang Pier in Game 2 of the PBA PH Cup quarterfinals.
