BACOLOD City – Task Force Kasanag national commander John Chiong said that the Anti Red Tape Authority (ARTA) has deputized the anti-crime and corruption group in helping citizens bring their concerns with government agencies.
Chiong said he and Atty. Jeremiah Belgica, ARTA director- general, signed the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) in Manila.
TFK members who will be deputized will have to undergo a seminar on anti-red tape efforts to be conducted by ARTA personnel in January 2020.
Chiong also said that citizens’ complaints should be acted on as soon as possible. Whether the result is negative or positive, the complainant should be informed
He said deputized TFK members can help citizens in following up their concerns with government agencies.
TFK is a civil society group that advocates against criminality, graft and corruption and illegal drugs.
“Now we can help in eradicating if not minimizing red tape and bureaucracy in government,” Chiong said.
