As a fervent movie enthusiast, I find immense joy in revisiting these timeless classics that have made an enduring impact on me. To end my series, permit me to review my top 10 movies that have taken me on unforgettable cinematic journeys in the past four decades:

Braveheart and Schindler’s List: These two masterpieces, directed by Mel Gibson and Steven Spielberg, respectively, share the top spot in my list. “Braveheart” embodies the spirit of freedom and heroism, while “Schindler’s List” is a hauntingly poignant exploration of humanity during the Holocaust.
  2. Forrest Gump: Tom Hanks’ portrayal of Forrest Gump, a simple man with an extraordinary life, is a heartwarming tale of love, resilience, and serendipity.
  3. The Green Mile and Castaway: This double feature showcases Tom Hanks at his finest. “The Green Mile” delves into themes of redemption and compassion, while “Castaway” is a gripping survival story that tugs at the soul.
  4. Shawshank Redemption and Finding Nemo: Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman’s powerful performances in “Shawshank Redemption” resonate with its themes of hope and friendship. On the other hand, “Finding Nemo” is an animated gem that teaches us about love and the importance of family.

  9. 12 Years a Slave and The Three Idiots: “12 Years a Slave” is a powerful depiction of slavery’s brutality and one man’s fight for freedom. In contrast, “The Three Idiots” is a heartwarming Indian film that celebrates friendship and the pursuit of one’s passions.
  10.
