The TNT Tropang Giga is going all in for the upcoming East Asia Super League (EASL) home-and-away season tournament set to begin on October 11, 2023.

TNT just began its off-season moves and already secured the commitment of their past import Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and former Converge FiberXers reinforcement Quincy Miller.

Popularly known as “RHJ”, the former NBA two-way swingman is back in the Philippines and is the current naturalized player of Jordan in the FIBA World Cup.

The hefty leftie has become a crowd favorite at the Mall of Asia Arena after putting up a streak of dominant performances for Jordan in the World Cup.

Perhaps his best outing in the global hoops games so far was last August 29, 2023, when he dropped a 39-point masterpiece to help Jordan send the game into overtime against New Zealand.

Despite the loss, RHJ earned the respect of the New Zealand national team after single-handedly carrying Jordan in the last three minutes to complete the comeback and force an extra period.

He is also no stranger to the PHL basketball community as he led the Tropang Giga to an import-laced conference crown against Justin Brownlee and the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel Gin Kings.

Meanwhile, Miller, also a former PBA import with Converge, is a well-known multi-dimensional scoring machine.

Through his 13-game contract under head coach Aldin Ayo and the FiberXers, Miller averaged an impressive 29.8 points, 15.4 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 2.9 blocks per contest.

Miller then took his talents to the Japan B. League and served as an import for the SeaHorses Mikawa.

The versatile forward also turned heads in Japan and averaged 18.8 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game.

As of now, TNT’s head coach Jojo Lastimosa is yet to confirm when will the Tropang Giga kick off their practice for the EASL upcoming tourney.
