The TNT Tropang Giga further cemented its place as PBA 3×3’s most dominant team after copping another championship title last December 17, 2022.

TNT defied all odds and pulled off a nail-biting win against team Cavitex in overtime, 19-17, to reign supreme in the Second Conference of the PBA 3×3 held at the Robinsons Malabon.

With the score knotted at 17-all in the game’s most crucial possession, TNT’s main gunner Almond Vosotros once again delivered the finishing blow after burying the game-winning long bomb.

After receiving a slow pass from Ping Exciminiano, Vosotros quickly planted his feet in the left corner and hoisted a hail mary weave that kissed the bottom of the net for the win.

It was one of the biggest shots Vosotros made in his entire 3×3 career since suiting up for the Tropang Giga in the first season of the league.

Aside from a year-ending championship title for the Tropang Giga, Vosotros and the rest of the guys also gave the franchise their third-straight PBA 3×3 title.

It was a game of runs after Cavitex struck first with their signature high-low post-play between Jorey Napoles and Bong Galanza.

However, the Tropang Giga quickly answered with their own offensive snowball after big man Lervin Flores went hot and operated in the shaded lane.

Flores was a man on a mission and saved the Tropang Giga with his back-to-back layups which forced an extra period of time against Cavitex.

Despite a cold shooting performance from Vosotros who headed into overtime with such a single point, the former 3×3 national team sniper sent Cavitex home with his clutch shot from the left corner.

The Tropang Giga then took home the 750k-peso worth of championship pot money and won a total of 1,050,000 pesos the whole conference.
