Filipino hopefuls Joe Noynay and Roldan Aldea will have to pack their mittens to the US after receiving a direct training invite from Top Rank Promotions.

Noynay and Aldea are the first of the few Filipinos to receive a direct training invitation from Top Rank and the sluggers will take advantage of the golden opportunity and will fly immediately for the start of their training.

However, their US trip won’t be all training and leisure as both fighters will have a high chance of inking a fight once a match card in their weight division becomes available.

Noynay and Aldea presented the letters sent to them by Top Rank on Powcast Sports, a social media avenue for Sports.

Noynay, who hails from Cebu, holds an impressive record of 18-2-2 with 7 wins coming by way of knockout.

The Cebuano southpaw was fresh from a technical draw against Japanese Kenichi Ogawa during their World Boxing Organization Asia Pacific super featherweight clash.

Meanwhile, Aldea, a lightweight from Kabankalan, Negros Occidental, is trying to get back in the winning column after losing his last fight while holding a record of 15-8-1 with 9 knockouts.
