John Riel Casimero and Jerwin Ancajas will have to wait until May after Top Rank Promotions announced their cancellation of boxing operations from March until April.

With both boxers wrapping up their preparations against their respective opponents as their fights are nearing, their fights will be delayed for another month after Top Rank chairman Bob Arum decided to shut down activities.

Casimero is currently doubling up preparations against the Japanese monster, Naoya Inoue, and said that they are already ready with only a few adjustments left as to Casimero’s speed and everything is set.

Meanwhile, Ancajas is almost ready and finished with his practice camp against the hard-hitting Mexican, Jonathan Javier Rodriguez.

Manny Pacquiao (MP) Promotions president Sean Gibbons already advised Ancajas and his team to just continue the training because the fight will be coming probably this May.

For Casimero, he and his camp are already in Las Vegas for their last training session phase but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, will stay there longer and will discuss last preps for the fight before heading back to the Philippines.
