BACOLOD City – Four vehicles suffered damage, and several electrical posts were toppled after an alleged tornado struck Eroreco Subdivision, Barangay Mandalagan, last Friday.

Police Captain Rondyl Tapang, head of Police Station 3, reported that strong winds ripped off roofs, causing damage to parked cars on Margarita Street.

“The alleged tornado was sighted in the area before noon,” Tapang said.

Additionally, a Facebook post depicted two electrical posts that had been knocked down by the strong winds. Tapang confirmed that there were no reported injuries.

A similar incident occurred four days earlier, with another alleged tornado sighting at a carnival in Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental, last Monday, according to a Facebook post.
