Leading automotive manufacturer and distributor Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) takes a bold move to implement a nationwide one-price policy.
Effective March 16, 2020, varying prices attributed to different freight costs incurred by provincial dealers will no longer be the case. This means customers can buy a Toyota from any authorized dealer outlet at the intended standard suggested retail price, whether they’re in NCR, Luzon, Visayas, or Mindanao.
“We know price is one of the major considerations of car customers. So we are helping simplify their purchase decision through measures and guidelines to keep the suggested retail price (SRP) standard, no matter where they are in the country. Now, our customers, especially those in the island towns and cities of MIMAROPA, Visayas and Mindanao can easily refer to our unified price list without worrying about factoring in the inter-island freight and handling costs, as these are already covered by the SRP,” TMP president Atsuhiro Okamoto said.
This step is one more way for TMP to assure customers of consistent product value and quality across the country.
