Two dead in road mishap

BACOLOD City – Two persons were dead in separate road accidents here last week.

Last Friday, Anthony Jentilizo, 48, of the said village, was driving a motorcycle on his way home from work when he crashed into the center island, causing him to fall from the bike.

Jentilizo hit his head on the ground which caused his immediate death.

The victim carried a helmet but he did not wear it, according to the police.

The following day, Rene Caceres, 54, of Barangay Tangub, a food delivery driver, succumbed to a cardiac arrest after he figured in a road accident in the said village.

According to Staff Sergeant Celerino Arrollado, traffic investigator of Police Station 8, Caceres was probably feeling ill while driving a motorcycle prompting him to overtake another motorcycle to rush to the hospital.

However, he fell to the road, and the debris of his motorcycle hit a car.

Caceres, who was wearing a helmet, was declared dead in a hospital.
