ROXAS CITY, Capiz A 28-year-old man died after his motorcycle crashed into another motorcycle morning of Mar 3, 2019 at Brgy. Santa Fe, Pilar, Capiz.
Police identified the victim as John Rey Campos of San Ramon, Pilar who was declared dead on arrival at Jesus Colmenares District Hospital in Iloilo. He succumbed to injuries in his head and other parts of the body.
Police investigation indicated that the victim was driving his motorcycle when he crashed into another bike driven by a minor at Block 17 of Morcita Village.
Because of the strong impact, Campos hit the concrete road head first.
Meanwhile, a 50-year-old tricycle driver also died after he was accidentally hit by a van evening of Mar 2, in Barangay Aglalana, Dumarao, Capiz.
Police identified the victim as Noli Fermo of Barangay Dangula, Dumarao.
Based on the investigation conducted by Dumarao police, the victim suddenly swerved his tricycle towards the middle of the road.
The move took van driver Orly Dignadice, 40, Kalibo, Aklan by surprise. He stepped on the brake and tried to avoid the tricycle but it was too late.
Fermo was thrown off his tricycle and suffered injuries in the different parts of the body. He was declared dead at Sen. Gerry Roxas District Hospital in Dao town.
Dignadice voluntarily surrendered to Dumarao police station.
