Two most wanted persons in Negros nabbed

The 2nd Negros Occidental Provincial Mobile Force Company, Hinigaran police and other units arrested on February 8 a farmer in Hinigaran for a murder charge.

BACOLOD City – Police arrested a teenager and a man wanted for various offenses at Rizal Street, Barangay 3, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental last Wednesday.

Arrested was a 31-year-old man tagged as the eighth most wanted person (MWP) in the province.

He was charged for murder by virtue of his arrest warrant with no bail recommended issued by Acting Presiding Judge Reginald Mercurio Fuentebella of Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 59 in San Carlos City.

Also apprehended was a 19-year-old boy charged for rape.

He was tagged as the ninth MWP in the province, also the third MWP at the city level.

His arrest warrant with no bail recommended was issued by Presiding Judge Amy Alabado Avellano of RTC Branch 58 in San Carlos City on February 2, 2024.

Police Brigadier General Sidney Villaflor, director of Police Regional Office (PRO)-6, assured the public that they will continue to work tirelessly to apprehend all wanted persons, delivering justice to those who have fallen victim to criminalities.

Meanwhile, the 2nd Negros Occidental Provincial Mobile Force Company, Hinigaran police and other units nabbed on February 8 a farmer in Hinigaran for a murder charge.

The suspect is the subject of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Walter G. Zorilla the Regional Trial Court Branch 56.

He is presently in custody at Hinigaran Police Station.
