Two nabbed with P136K worth of ‘shabu’

BACOLOD City – Two persons were arrested after police seized from them 20 grams of suspected shabu worth P136,000 in a buy-bust operation at Purok Greenfield 2, Barangay Tangub here yesterday.

Arrested were Randy Tillana, 34, and Suzannie Anne Cordova, 37, both residents of the said village.

Police Captain Joven Mogato, head of the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU), said Tillana is the owner of a house being rented by Cordova and her live-in partner.

But Cordova’s live-in partner was not home during the operation, according to Mogato.

Mogato said that both suspects are newly-identified individuals.

Police also recovered from them the P1,000 marked money and P150 personal cash.

Both of them are detained at Police Station 8.

Meanwhile, P59,989 worth of the same contraband was also seized from six individuals here on Jan. 28, and in Negros Occidental, particularly in the cities of La Carlota, Sagay, and San Carlos, and the town of Cauayan on Jan. 27 and 28.
