Two newly promoted Police Commissioned Officers (PCO) took their oath and got their new ranks on Oct 18, 2021 at Madia-as Hall of Camp Gen Martin Teofilo B Delgado, Iloilo City.
In a simple ceremony, Police Brigadier General Rolando F Miranda, Police Regional Office (PRO) 6 regional director, administered the oath and donning of new ranks to Police Lieutenant Colonel Victorino E Romanillos Jr and Police Lieutenant Colonel Joeresty P Coronica who were both promoted to Police Colonel.
Miranda congratulated the newly promoted PCOs as well as their respective families.
“Ang promotion natin ay ipinagkaloob ng Diyos sa atin yan, and of course you worked hard for it. I am confident that you deserve this promotion, lalo pa itong madadagdagan ang galing niyo sa sinimulan niyong trabaho. It is an honor that I’ve been part of your happiness, I really want to see you grow and succeed in your career,” he said.
The promotion order of Cols. Romanillos Jr and Coronica took effect on Sept 15 and 21, 2021, respectively.
Romanillos is the chief of the Regional Community Affairs and Development Division while Coronica heads the Regional Plans and Strategy Management Division.
In attendance during the occasion were Police Brigadier General Allan C Nobleza, Deputy Regional Director for Administration; Police Colonel Ross C Alavarado, Deputy Regional Director for Operations; Police Colonel Lope M Manlapaz and PRO-6 Regional Staff.
