BACOLOD City – Two persons were killed in separate slashing and hacking incidents in Negros Occidental last Sunday.
In Calatrava town, Dante Anog, 34, of Barangay Marcelo was reportedly slashed to death by 42-year-old Samuel Dinglasan at the said village.
Police investigation indicated that Anog and Dinglasan were drinking liquor at the house of the latter’s live-in partner when the incident occurred.
Police could not clearly tell yet Dinglasan’s motive for killing Anog.
The victim expired at Calatrava District Hospital.
Meanwhile, in Cadiz City, Ronilo Canillo, 49, of Sagay City was allegedly hacked to death by an unidentified suspect at Barangay Cabahug.
According to the police, Canillo went to the house of his former girlfriend who was already married.
Police believed that the suspect might be the woman’s husband.
