Two ‘street pushers’ nabbed

Two street level pushers were arrested in separate drug pushers evening of July 4 in the city and province of Iloilo.

Police identified the suspects as Jason Gobuyan, 27, of Barangay Tigum, Pavia, Iloilo and John Horario, 41, of Zone 3, Barangay Bakhaw, Mandurriao, Iloilo City.

Members of Mina Municipal Police Station, together with Iloilo Police Provincial Office – Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (IPPO-PDEU) and 2nd Iloilo Provincial Mobile Force Company (IPMFC), arrested Gobuyan at 9:25 p.m. Tuesday at Barangay Bangac, Mina town.

He allegedly sold a sachet of suspected shabu for P15,000 to a police poseur buyer.

When frisked, police seized three more sachets of suspected shabu, a wallet, a charger, a lighter and two cigarette packs.

Meanwhile, Horario was arrested at 10:45 pm in Bakhaw village.

Members of the Iloilo City Police Station 5 collared the suspect after he sold a sachet of suspected shabu for P25,000.

The suspect was further with another sachet of suspected shabu, a Kawasaki (Barako) 175 motorcycle, and several non-drug items.

Both suspects are now detained and will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9166 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
