Two young men collared for attempted murder raps

Two young men accused of attempted murder were arrested in separate operations Saturday morning in Tubungan, Iloilo.

Police identified the suspects as Joseph Tagum, 21, and Ivan Camaso, 19, both residents of Barangay Igdampug Sur, Tubungan.

Members of Tubungan Police Station arrested Camaso around 8 am while Tagum was collared 15 minutes later.

Records from the local police showed that Camaso and Tagum are the town’s second and third most wanted persons, respectively.

Lieutenant Romel Samson, Tubungan police chief, said both suspects were collared by virtue of an arrest warrant for Criminal Case No. 20-85479 issued on Aug. 28, 2020.

Bail bond for their temporary liberty was fixed at P120,000.

Both suspects are detained at the lock-up cell of Tubungan Police Station for proper disposition of their case.
