The best player during the UAAP Juniors’ men’s basketball Season 82 is staying with the Adamson Baby Falcons despite receiving several offers.

Prized swingman Jake Figueroa is not going anywhere and is expected to create a promising young core in Adamson.

“Doon ko po talaga gustong ipagpatuloy ang career ko sa paglalaro ng basketball pati sa pag-aaral,” Figueroa confirmed.

The 6-foot-2 forward averaged 13.2 points on 49% shooting, 14.2 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.6 steals, and 1.4 blocks during his stellar UAAP Season 82 MVP campaign.

Figueroa’s decision of staying with the Baby Falcons will setup a reunion with high school teammates Matt Erolon, Joshua Barcelona, and Didat Hanapi who also committed to Adamson.

Once tournament play resumes, Figueroa and the rest of the Soaring Falcons are looking to have a huge bounce back after managing to only win four games the previous season.
