The University Library of UP Visayas conducted a series of orientations on the use of online resources specifically Science Direct and PlagScan (Anti Plagiarism Software) in Miagao campus on February 12-13, 2020 and in Iloilo City campus on February 14, 2020, respectively.
Faculty members and REPS were the focus of these orientations.
University Librarian Analiza G. Linaugo spearheaded the said activity with the support of the librarians and staff.
Ann Vie Magbanua of C.E. Logic Educational Solutions Group was the resource speaker.
Two graduate students of Master’s in Food Science, School of Technology (SOTECH) under Dr. SR. Luzette T. Teruel were also oriented on Feb 7 2020 at the UP Visayas CFOS Library, Miagao, Iloilo.
College Librarian Anna Lisa M. Erazo and support staff Jason S. Sedantes discussed how to use the online resources, specifically the Science Direct and also the Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) and iLib.
These resources are very helpful in supporting the research needs of students, faculty and researchers.
