HE seems to be leaning in the direction he had previously mocked – that the coronavirus was genetically manipulated and mass-produced in a government lab in Wuhan, China, just short of calling its global spread “intentional”.
Not much has been reported about it in the local media. But the turnaround of Dr. Antony Fauci could lead to the verifiable origin of the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) that has devastated the whole world.
Dr. Fauci, now 80, has been the United States’ director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) since 1984.
In a recent TV appearance where he was asked whether he still believes the virus “developed naturally,” he responded, “No, actually. We should continue to investigate what went on in China.”
While he gave no details, Fauci could have been influenced by French scientist Luc Montagnier, the 2008 Nobel Prize recipient for discovering the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). Montagnier believes that the virus was designed by molecular biologists because it contains genetic elements of HIV, which could not have arisen naturally.
Montagnier’s belief jibes with those of maverick Chinese virologists who pin the blame on the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), aimed at producing a biological weapon out of the virus. One of them, Dr. Li Meng Yan, is now hiding in the United States “to stay safe”.
Dr. Li had belittled the CCP-foisted theory that the virus could have come from bats.
It’s both funny and detestable that, here, we have Filipino leaders thanking President Xi Jin Ping for donating vaccines, face shields, and face masks while sealing their lips on how much we taxpayers have lost in payment for the non-donated portion of the same products.
Our government is one of the most “notorious” in imposing futile lockdowns on the pretext of “flattening the curve” but “successful” in bankrupting businesses and terminating employment.
Are we saying that China’s intention to dominate the world rests on crippling the world economy while enriching itself in the process?
Only time would confirm or disprove that. Otherwise, we could be jumping into the wrong conclusion. But meanwhile, it cannot be denied that the manufacturers of the more popular anti-Covid vaccines are the United States and the United Kingdom, allegedly with massive capitalization from American billionaire Bill Gates.
As of yesterday, 3,466,314 individuals have been vaccinated in the Philippines, with 1,029,061 of them receiving the second dose. It is their hope that they would henceforth enjoy full protection from Covid-19.
Alas, however, that hope may not be correct. Some already vaccinated people have tested positive for COVID. If I heard Mayor Jerry Treñas right on the radio, eight of them come from Iloilo City.
This corner has never pinned hope on the experimental vaccines. I know too well how the profit-greedy Big Pharma would spend millions of promotion dollars in the hope of earning billions, with the World Health Organization (WHO) and our Department of Health (DOH) by its side.
In fact, there are world-famous scientists and pharmacologists who openly denounce the government and health authorities for peddling “false hopes” on the vaccines.
Weeks before the arrival of the first batch of the China-made Sinovac in Manila, I cited the refusal of US pharmaceutical giant Merck & Co. to join the rush among profit-motivated anti-Covid vaccine producers.
Merck chairman Ken Frazier, interviewed on TV by Prof. Tsedal Neeley of the Harvard Business School, said, ”We don’t even understand the virus itself or how it affects the immune system. What worries me the most is that the public is so hungry, so desperate to go back to normalcy that they are pushing us to move faster.”
And now, the messages flooding the social media quote some world-famous authorities demonizing the vaccines. I would rather not requote them because they could be made-up. On verification from credible sources, for example, I learned that Prof. Luc Montagnier – the above-mentioned French Nobel prize-winning scientist – had not predicted “death” for the vaccinated.
An online publication, Health Impact News, alleged last May 14 that thousands had already died worldwide or suffered physical defects after getting the vaccine. One of the latter is famous musician Eric Clapton.
The respectable Los Angeles Times confirmed in its May 17 issue that Clapton got disabled by “frozen limbs” after his second dose.
Would Clapton consider himself a victim of China’s biological weapon?

A MESSAGE FROM MORE POWER’S PRESIDENT
THE president of Iloilo City’s power-distribution utility, Roel Z. Castro, has affirmed his cooperation with Mayor Jerry P. Treñas in their common desire to go back to the old normal through the following message:

“Rest assured that we are of the same objective for the continuity of the lives of everyone in these difficult times and if it requires of us to momentarily defer the developments needed to ensure the improvement of our distribution lines as part of our modernization program, we are heeding that call to play our part.
“We understand that under the MECQ status, it will require most of the city population to stay in their homes to impede the spread of the virus, making everyone fully dependent on utilities including electricity to go on with their lives.
“We have to note, however, that since our entire system is still undergoing process of normalization due to the switching of our 69 KV transmission line situated at Brgy. Banuyao, Lapaz, and with all our substations now connected to the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP), there could be unscheduled outages but be rest assured that we have our stand-by Quick Response Teams to handle the unexpected interruption that might occur from this day onwards.
“Again, we have to emphasize that we have deferred our scheduled maintenance services.
“We assure everyone that MORE Power is always ready and will work to implement our business continuity plan to distribute the needed power at these very challenging times.”
