After a joint conference by the Games and Amusement Board (GAB), Commission on Higher Education (CHED), the Department of Health (DOH), and the Philippine Sports Commission, GAB chairman Abraham Mitra said that they will be presenting a report to the Department of Justice (DOJ) for further assessment.

Under the Joint Administrative Order (JAO) which contains guidelines regarding the resumption of sports and physical activities, chairman Mitra said that the involvement of the DOJ will let them identify the specific violations UST committed in Sorsogon.

“We’re still studying the possible violations that UST committed on the JAO and we’ll submit our report on UST to DOJ by Monday,” said Mitra.

The UST fiasco has been taking weeks now and Mitra together with the designated organizations tasked to solve the issue are taking actions to reach a final decision.

In the meantime, they ordered the coach Aldin Ayo led squad to cease any training until further announcements made by the higher body.

Until now, coach Ayo and his camp have kept silent on the matter.
