Uswag Ilonggo Party-List commits to broaden its development efforts beyond Western Visayas, targeting the Ilonggo communities in Region 12 for future projects.
This initiative was highlighted during the 22nd South Cotabato Provincial Liga Congress opening program held on February 20 at the Iloilo Convention Center.
In a recorded message, Cong. Jojo Ang affirmed the party’s commitment to bringing its successful programs to South Cotabato, a key province in Region 12.
“We aim to extend our projects and initiatives to every municipality and barangay in South Cotabato,” Ang stated.
He further emphasized that the party seeks to replicate the progress achieved in Iloilo and Western Visayas, hoping to implement similar programs in South Cotabato and the entire Soccsksargen region in the coming years.
It is remembered that in 2024, Uswag Ilonggo Party-List delivered financial assistance to over 4000 families in the province of South Cotabato.
Ang, alongside Gov. Arthur Defensor Jr., also welcomed delegates to Iloilo City, highlighting the significance of gatherings like the Liga Congress in enhancing government efficiency and strengthening local leadership.
“These events help improve governance, enhance leadership skills, and ultimately allow us to serve our communities more effectively,” he added.
As Uswag Ilonggo gears up for reelection in the 2025 midterm polls, the party remains focused on expanding its reach and delivering impactful projects to more communities.
