BACOLOD City – Negros Occidental Vice Governor Jeffrey Ferrer said he wants transparency in all transactions of the government, particularly on infrastructure projects.

In an interview with Aksyon Radyo-Bacolod, Ferrer issued the statement after receiving the lists of projects which began during the previous administration, as well the current state of the said projects.

Ferrer said the status of the projects was already explained by Provincial Engineer Ernie Mapa during the budget hearings, however, he pointed out the details and data presented to them were incomplete.

He added that they have a mandate to scrutinize and monitor every project since these are undertakings of the provincial government.

Among the infrastructure projects that are incomplete until now are the Negros First Food Pala-Pala Terminal, Negros Residences, and the Mambukal Convention Hotel.
