It was a day of arts and culture when Iloilo’s tourism and business movers and shakers gathered in a festive info-luncheon during the grand launching of the latest tourism campaign slogan “Visit Iloilo!” at Iloilo Convention Center.
Leading the guests who pledged their commitment to this tourism advocacy were Iloilo Provincial Governor Arthur Defensor Jr., Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Trenas, Iloilo Festival Foundation, Inc. President Allan Tan, and keynote speaker, Managing Director of Megaworld Hotels & Resorts Cleofe Albiso.
A mini fashion show featuring local talented designers Jaki Peñalosa, Tata Blas, Aisha Penalosa, and a Dinagyang tribe performance added pomp and pageantry to the event.
This exciting day highlighted the “Visit Iloilo” campaign slogan, which showcases the beauty, rich cultural heritage, and culinary adventures of Iloilo, recognized as a UNESCO City of Creative Gastronomy.
