BACOLOD City – An estimated P775,300 worth of suspected shabu were seized in six separate buy-bust operations here over the weekend.

Personnel of Police Station 4 scored the biggest drug haul with P309,000 in an operation conducted at Barangay 22 on May 18.

Cops also arrested Dennis Villanueva and Joemil Dellave after they allegedly yielded 15 sachets of suspected shabu weighing 35 grams, the P1,000 marked money, and a digitial weighing scale.

Both suspects are detained at Police Station 4.

Also on Saturday, John Bombita was arrested at Barangay 33 after police recovered from his possession 40 sachets of suspected shabu worth P192,000, and the P1,000 marked money. He is detained at Police Station 6.

Also arrested last Saturday at Barangay 2 were Fritz Mendoza, 29, and Shalemar Diola, 24 which resulted in the confiscation of three sachets of suspected shabu weighing 12 grams worth P150,000, the P1,000 marked money, and a weighing scale.

Mendoza is a newly identified drug personality, based on police records. Both suspects are detained at Police Station 2.

On the same day, Joemarie Latombo was arrested at Barangay 30 after police seized from him nine sachets of suspected shabu worth P4,500, and the P300 marked money. He is detained at Police Station 6.

On Sunday, Noli Mabasa, 27, and Romel Sua, 37, both residents of Barangay Villamonte were arrested at Barangay 12.

Police confiscated from them 12 sachets of suspected shabu worth P70,000, the P300 marked money, three lighters, and an improvised tooter. 

Mabasa, a street level target and Sua, a high-value target are detained at Police Station 1.

Also arrested yesterday at Barangay Villamonte were Lorwin Dimos, 31, and Daryn Jimena, 40, both residents of the said village.

The two suspects were allegedly caught engaging in the illegal drug trade, recovered were nine sachets of suspected shabu weighing 4.8 grams worth P49,800, the P500 marked money, and two improvised tooters.

They are detained at Police Station 4.
