Western Visayas’ Sixth Most Wanted Man Arrested

One of Western Visayas’ most wanted men was arrested on the afternoon of Nov. 6 in San Joaquin, Iloilo.

Alias Raffy, a 42-year-old farmer from Barangay Asluman, Hamtic, Antique, was apprehended in Barangay Sta. Rita, San Joaquin.

Members of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) – Iloilo Provincial Field Unit, along with the Hamtic Municipal Police Station, the Antique Police Provincial Office – Provincial Intelligence Unit (AnPPO-PIU), and the Regional Intelligence Unit (RIU) 6, arrested Raffy based on an arrest warrant for rape under Criminal Case No. 2024-10-11138.

Judge Jojo Cruz Cruzat of Regional Trial Court 6 (RTC-6) Branch 11 in San Jose, Antique, issued the arrest warrant on Oct. 29, 2024.

No bail was recommended for his temporary liberty.

Authorities noted that Raffy is the sixth most wanted person in Western Visayas.

Last week, an electrician from Antique province, listed as the eighth most wanted person in the region, was also arrested for rape.
