My one and only prayer for the upcoming May 12 elections is short and simple: “Please, Jesus, don’t let win those who are NOT supposed to win.” Huwag Mo po panalunin, Panginoon, ang mga hindi dapat manalo.
The Lord heard and answered my prayer:
“Son, your wish will never happen until those who hold power—the crooks, deceitful, foolish, selfish, avaricious, opportunists, thugs, criminal-minded, cowards, charlatans, recycled narcissists, and the dynastics—outnumber the good ones who rule and reign in your country.
I have given man the free will to choose from Creation time. Thus, your nation won’t get the right political leaders it needs because your elections are mere popularity contests and money-manna games/sweepstakes, which shape and so characterize the ‘people’s choice.’
The men and women that I opt/pick to lead your nation will rarely and scarcely ever get elected (in majority number) one election after another—until fake news, trolls, troll farms, election ‘survey’ firms, and politicized religious groups through their block voting scheme—can freely and openly do their hellish, foolish tricks and dirty money-making trade to manipulate, dupe, and condition minds—using social media, ‘science,’ and churches in fooling, ‘polling,’ and dictating on people.
Filipinos need to pray up, wake up, wise up, shape up, and get up—first and foremost—by way of no-nonsense, blistering, ferocious reforms in your nation’s electoral process, as well as (afterward) in executive self-serving governance, legislative clowning, and sick judicial system for your officials. Be healed.”
“If my people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” – 2 Chronicles 7:14
Come election day, who then should Filipinos vote?
Nobody can tell for sure except God. But there are candidates who obviously do not deserve to be elected, yet they are the ones who always win.
They greatly and despicably overshadow and outmaneuver the ideal and the worthy, but lesser-known and unknown ones.
(Watch out, though, for newcomer punks and gorillas who may be worse than old-time yoboes and gangsters in Philippine politics.)
Alas, there lies the Pinoy ‘puzzle’ and puzzlement (and idiocy).
Ask an AI, dear countrymen, and you can expect to get a right answer.
But ask political wolves, vultures, sharks, and crocodiles (any question) and surely you would get an answer that will only and exclusively paint/project themselves as good, cute, admirable, and electable—regardless of the truth (and their heart).
Futile media.
My misgivings about Artificial Intelligence remain to this day.
But one thing good about AI is that it is reliably ‘intelligent,’ candid, clever, and truthful.
What it ‘sincerely’ analyzes to be true is what it produces and says—untainted and unaffected by political agenda and personal interests—as it is incorruptible, pure in ‘heart,’ and more sensible than humans—unlike most politicians.
Another stark contrast: Artificial Intelligence is honest too. It does not lie.
Once I asked an AI in a website app, “Are you human?” Its reply: “No, I am not.”
But try to ask politicians the same question…
Big lesson: It is better to have ‘artificial intelligence’ than having ‘no intelligence’ at all—like most politicians.
Vote for AI.
