Woman, companion nabbed with P156,000 ‘shabu’

BACOLOD City – A woman was again arrested with her companion for possessing 23 grams of suspected shabu worth P156,400 at Purok Maabi-abihon, Barangay 35 here last Thursday.

Police identified the subject as Ana Crisostomo, while her companion was Ivan Lee Jereza.

Major Elmer Bonilla, head of Police Station 1, said that Crisostomo was arrested for a drug offense in 2016 and was released from jail three years later.

Bonilla said that police continued monitoring her until she was again caught allegedly trading illegal drugs.

Crisostomo is a high value individual, while  Jereza is a street level individual, according to Bonilla, adding that the latter is an alleged  first time offender.

Bonilla said that Crisostomo alleged that someone was just delivering the illegal drugs in her house.

Drug charges are being readied against the two suspects.
