A woman proved that love conquers all, even death, as she tied the knot with her boyfriend who passed away a month before their supposed wedding in June.
A video posted on Facebook showed Mary Jane Escribano, 40, in a wedding dress and sitting beside the coffin of her boyfriend Jestoni Haincadto, 33.
A wedding ceremony attended by the couple’s families was held in Guihulngan City, Negros Oriental on May 13, a day before Jestoni was laid to rest.
The post from Jhaira Mae Lausa Haincadto garnered 7,900 views, as of this writing.
Escribano said she asked for two signs before she decided to pursue their wedding.
“Siya (Jestoni) nangita paagi para matuman ini,” she added.
The couple had just celebrated their fifth anniversary as a couple when Jestoni succumbed to a heart attack early this month.
