BACOLOD City – A young man was arrested with 20 grams of suspected shabu worth P136,000 in a buy-bust operation in Barangay 27 here last Friday.

Police identified the subject as Kent John Perez, 23, of the said village, a newly identified individual.

Captain Francis Depasucat, head of Police Station 4, said they received information from the community that Perez was allegedly in the illegal drug trade.

But it took them about a month to launch the operation against him, as he would usually transfer from one place to another.

“Ka danlog ni abi sa iya, kay gasaylo-saylo siya,” Depasucat said.

Depasucat said they are probing Perez’s source of the illegal drugs, as the suspect is hesitant to provide information.

Police also recovered from him P700 cash, including the marked money.

Charges for sale and illegal possession of dangerous drugs will be filed against Perez.
