THIS time around, on my birth date, I decided to forego a celebration, but somehow, my nephews and nieces surprised me with a joint birthday celebration at our beloved hometown in Mambusao, Capiz.
The luncheon celebration was a joint celebration of my nephews: Engr. Francis Billones and my long-missed nephew, the late Fusion “Nonoy” dela Cruz.
SUSAN UY REYES NIGHT
The next day it was a night to greet also my muy sympatico kasimanwa Susan Uy Reyes on her white themed birthday celebration at her chic white abode in Our City of Love.
Amidst flowing wines, all her well-wishers gamely came in white outfits as per Susan’s request who were gleefully entertained by her unico hijo Ronald Reyes.
My Birthday Other Soirees
A luncheon the next day commenced with GMA Kapuso celebrities Derek Ramsay and Andrea Torres as well as Jeric Gonzales and Klea Pineda who were here in Iloilo City for their much awaited Mall shows who likewise greeted me with their birthday wishes.
In the afternoon, I attended the launching of the newly rebranded official Dinagyang Festival’s beauty pageant, The Miss Iloilo 2020m, at the plush Richmonde Hotel Iloilo.
Welcoming us was the Pageant’s Organizer Madame Sarah O. Pena and Richmonde Iloilo GM Nat Lim who both surprised me with a mini-birthday cake.
As Sarah Pena said, “this year’s pageant is our quest for an Ilongga beauty Queen to be represented in the national and International pageant.”
