ZAFARI ADVENTURE

Cebu-based Ilongga jeweler Darlene Ardena-Go has been inviting me to go on vacation in Cebu City, but the Covid-19 pandemic stalled the plan.

Still, Darlene spent quality time with her family when her New York-based and eldest daughter came home.

Off they traveled to the world class Cebu Zafari Adventure Park, a 170-hectare property developed and owned by Cebuano tycoon Michel J. Lhuiller.

They enjoyed close encounters with more than 100 animal species including lions, giraffes, camels, tigers, zebras, among others.

Well, I told Darlene that I did tour the zafari haven few years back.

“This much awaited moment finally made our day, like travelling but in a safe haven while exploring nature with lovely jungle animals. This trip was so memorable that we got to experience once again the childlike joy of exploring the wilds and admiring the beauty of God’s creation amidst this pandemic year.”
