A glitzy gala dinner dance ball and induction of new Officers and New Members marked Zonta Club of Iloilo Incoporated’s 50th golden year anniversary at the coo JR Hall of the upscale Diversion 21 Hotel.
Leading the newly inducted Golden officers Biennium year 2022-2224 were; President Louise J. Cordova, President Elect Corazon Daisy M. Caling, Vice President Ruth Tirol –Jarantilla, Recording Sec. Atty. Charmagne Joie O. Malunes, Corresponding Sec. Edna H. Samiento, Asst. Tres. Merly E. Ajayi, Treasurer Katherine G. Lee, Asst. Auditor Excel M. Villanueva, Auditor Bessie C. Rebadulla, PRO Ria Cordero-Sievert. Alson inducted as Board of Directors were; Ma. Amelita Azzaraga, Perla Arguelles, Lagrimas Zapanta, Teresita Apistar and Elsie Ramos. PID Ma. Imelda “ Dandy” S. Gomez likewise wdid the honor as inducting officer
DG Ofelia “ Lia” C. Bautista of Zonta International District 17 was the guest speakerof the noble evening.
A hearfelt message of a glimpse of history of the said noble Organization of women brought down to the memory lane by no less than past Area Director and PP Ruth Tirol-Jarantilla.
“The camaderie that we built whilst sharing our passion for service and love for others has been inspirational. We Zontians, by our sincere efforts to create a positive difference in the lives of women and children, and to uplift their status as equals in this World, as the saying goes, “share with others, and serve with love!” PP Ruth Tirol-Jarantilla said.
A perky retro dance number performed by lovely Zontians highlighted the Zonta Club’s of Iloilo City Inc.’s 50th golden year!
