Dubbed as the “Dancing Doctors”, Cosmo Iloilo’s topnotch medi couple Dr. Rollin Tabuena and Ma. Daisy Tabuena led Zumba Dance Enthusiasts all over the province of Iloilo in a fund raising drive for Rotary Club of Lapaz.
Held at the sprawling Ateneo de Iloilo Gymnasium , the event aptly dubbed “Dance of Hope”Doctors of Iloilo,” joined forces to support the Zumba fitness community of Iloilo.
Various Zumba groups from as far as Antique province, the towns of Miag-ao, Guimbal, Maasin, Banate, Igbaras, Cabatuan and Dumangas in Iloilo, Negros Occidental province, SPG, BJMP, flocked to the venue to jive with the international Zumba sensation, TML Crew, Kramer, Jay, Johnross, Charly and Paulo.
Joining them were the local group K-Squad headed by Georey Bucana and the different instructors from the city and the province as well.
A pre-show kicked off the event with six Zumba groups showcasing their dance moves to the delight of the dancers. Each performance was heart-pumping which started the adrenalin rush in time for the main event.
Fast forward to the main event, the funky and upbeat dance number of the dancing doctors was well applauded. The four-minute performance ramped up the mood for more cardio workouts.
The crowd went gaga a notch higher when the duo performed an electrifying dance number with the TML Crew on their next act.
