The Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOCPPO) received 40 pieces improvised face shields donated by Karen Tajanlangit of Right Aid Health Insurance through Aksyon Radyo-Bacolod on March 20, 2020 at Camp Alfredo M Montelibano Sr. in Bacolod City.
The equipment will be immediately given to the personnel of NOCPPO manning the Quarantine Control Points (QCP) at the five identified entry points in the province of Negros Occidental.
NOCPPO along with the Inter Agency Task Force for COVID-19 in Negros Occidental has put up the QCPs on identified roads in the Cities of San Carlos and Kabankalan and in the municipalities of La Castellana, Isabela and Hinobaan.
The QCPs are in keeping with Executive Order 2020-15 issued by Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson.
Police Colonel Romeo Baleros, NOCCPO director, expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the support of concerned stakeholders amid the threat of the coronavirus pandemic.
“We thank Ms Karen Tajanlangit who donated these face shields through Aksyon Radyo-Bacolod. This would help protect our personnel who are doing their job serving and protecting the people of Negros Occidental,” Baleros added.
