BACOLOD City – The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) seized P8.9 million worth of suspected shabu from March 1 to 31.
Based on the record, a total of 1316.388 grams of illegal drugs worth P8,951,438 were confiscated in 64 police operations here.
These operations resulted in the arrest of 72 drug personalities, including seven high value individuals (HVI), two newly-identified individuals, and 63 street level individuals (SLI).
A total of 75 cases were filed in court for violation of Republic Act (RA) 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
In the campaign against wanted persons, the BCPO arrested 18 most wanted persons and 74 other wanted persons from 92 police operations.
For the campaign against loose firearms, 16 police operations resulted in the arrest of five violators and confiscation of nine homemade firearms. Nine cases were filed for violation of RA 10591 or Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Law.
For the anti-illegal gambling, 22 police operations were conducted, with the apprehension of 60 individuals. A total of 22 cases have been filed in court against the violators.
