ROXAS CITY, Capiz – A husband and his wife died while their daughter and another individual were wounded when their motorcycle collided with another motorcycle Friday morning, May 19, on the national highway of Barangay Bolo, Roxas City.
The incident happened around 1:45 am while couple Arante Cordenillo Tumanday and Erlyn Castillo Tumanday were on their way home to Brgy. Rizal, Pontevedra.
Their daughter Aryan Aline Castillo Tumanday, 22, was also with her parents when they figured in a head-on collision with the motorcycle driven by Joselito Caballero Dela Cruz, 24, of Sitio Crossing, Brgy. Cagay here.
Staff Sgt. Joerge Catalan, traffic investigator of the Roxas City PNP, said Arante was driving his Motorstar motorcycle with his wife and daughter from Roxas City proper when a Euro 125 motorcycle running from the opposite direction overshot the lane and collided with the Tumandays.
