The F2 Logistics Cargo Movers entered the winning column of the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference after blanking the NXLED Chameleons, 25-20, 25-14, 25-16, last October 24, 2023, held at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.

After the disappointing opening game day loss against the Akari Chargers, the Cargo Movers showed some adjustments and proved to be too much for the debuting NXLED franchise.

Carrying the load for the Cargo Movers is Ivy Lacsina who put on an offensive masterclass during their dominant three-set victory.

The former UAAP champion with the National University (NU) Lady Bulldogs led all F2 Logistics scorers and dropped 15 points and four blocks.

From the get-go, the Cargo Movers quickly turned to their new outside hitter and immediately paid off the trust of the F2 Logistics coaching staff.

Head coach Regine Diego found the mismatch with Lacsina attacking NXLED’s middle blockers at will, piling up the points every time she was fed with their cross-court attacks.

It was a courageous performance from the Chameleons after a toe-to-toe first set but after the Cargo Movers found their groove on both ends, the former PSL queens just stomped over them and dominated in all facets.

Aside from Lacsina’s superb offensive performance, the Cargo Movers also fortified their floor defense with the return of Dawn Macandili-Catindig to their lineup.

Catindig was absent during their match against the Chargers and was badly missed as the Cargo Movers had a huge hole in their floor coverage last game.

F2 Logistics will have the chance to extend their winning streak to two as they battle the Galeries Tower on Saturday to be held in Candon, Ilocos Sur.
