BACOLOD City – A resident of Kabankalan City in Negros Occidental ranked seventh in the November 2023 Pharmacists Licensure Examination.
Dhavon Ralo of Barangay Tabugon, Kabankalan City, garnered a 92 percent rating. He graduated cum laude from Colegio San Agustin-Bacolod.
In a Facebook post, Ralo dedicated his success to his mother.
“To my Nanay, this is all for you. I know that this feat would not be possible without your sacrifices and hard work,” Ralo said. “You are the pillar of my hope, motivation, and strength,” he added.
He also thanked his father and siblings for their unwavering support and love, and his mentors and teachers for imparting their knowledge and expertise.
“Thank you to everyone else who nevertheless gave their utmost support and encouragement,” Ralo said.
Sixth District Rep. Mercedes Alvarez, in a Facebook post, lauded Ralo for his achievement.
“Another proud moment for the CHICKS (Candoni, Hinobaan, Ilog, Cauayan, Kabankalan, and Sipalay) area,” she said.
Alvarez said that Ralo is an alumnus of Tabugon Elementary School, Tabugon National High School, and Kabankalan Catholic College (senior high).
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 2,974 out of 4,038 passed the examination given by the Board of Pharmacy in the National Capital Region (NCR), Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
