The 4th Quarter 2024 Regional Statistics Committee VI (RSC VI) Meeting and the 2024 PSA VI Agriculture and Fisheries Data Dissemination Forum were held on Friday, November 28, at the Grand Xing Imperial Hotel in Iloilo City.
The RSC VI meeting addressed critical policy issues, including the proposed 2025 RSC Policy Agenda and the 2025 Regional Statistical Development Programs.
Key topics also included highlights of the 2023 Provincial Product Accounts, the 2023 Western Visayas Poverty Incidence Rate, and the recognition of RSC’s achievements during the 9th RSC Summit.
Marissa Segovia, vice president and trustee of the Iloilo Business Club, joined the discussions, providing valuable insights on the role of accurate statistical data in regional development planning.
In the afternoon, the forum shifted its focus to the state of agriculture and fisheries in Western Visayas, covering data from 2023 and the first three quarters of 2024.
