Aksyon Radyo Iloilo–DYOK 720 KHz has reaffirmed its position as the undisputed leader in Iloilo’s radio landscape, topping both AM and FM bands combined in the latest radio listenership survey.
The survey, from December 6 to 12, 2024, covered 12 radio stations in Iloilo, including both AM and FM frequencies. Aksyon Radyo Iloilo emerged as the clear leader, capturing a 35.84% audience share. Bombo Radyo Iloilo followed in second place with a 20.43% audience share.
Among AM stations, Aksyon Radyo Iloilo’s dominance was even more pronounced, securing an impressive 53.76% audience share. This means more than half of all AM radio listeners in Iloilo tuned in to Aksyon Radyo. Bombo Radyo ranked second with 30.64%, RMN placed third with 14.73%, followed by Super Radyo Iloilo with 0.48%, and Ang Dios Gugma Radio with 0.38%.
The survey was conducted by Kantar Media, a market research firm specializing in broadcast media and is responsible for audience measurement of radio and TV ratings in the country.
This achievement is not new for Aksyon Radyo Iloilo. The station has consistently dominated the three consecutive Kantar Media surveys conducted on April 20-26, 2023; September 13-19, 2023; and June 7-13, 2024.
