Asialink extends loan services via DiskarTech ‘super’ app

Asialink Finance Corporation (AFC), in partnership with the Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC) through its digital banking app DiskarTech, strengthens its commitment to assist in the economic recovery of Filipinos, particularly the underserved and unbanked sector affected by the current pandemic.

The memorandum of agreement between the two premier homegrown companies makes AFC the pioneer partner of DiskarTech for the Philippines’ first loans marketplace.

DiskarTech, which aims to make banking services more accessible especially to those who live in grassroots communities, is the first Tagalog-English financial inclusion app in the Philippines. Plans to offer the Cebuano dialect in the app are upcoming, to cater to the Cebuano speaking market estimated at over 25 percent of total Philippine population, mostly in Visayas and Mindanao.

DiskarTech, touted as a “super app” for its financial inclusion offerings, has about 4 million mobile downloads and 2.8 million registered users. The app is popular in the provinces and among millennials.
