Cancervants-Iloilo Brings Christmas Joy to Kids

By Mariela Angella Oladive

This December, Cancervants-Iloilo celebrated resilience and hope by hosting two events that brought joy to young cancer warriors and their families.

On December 5, the “Christmas of Hope” event at Festive Walk Iloilo filled the venue with laughter and happiness. Carefully wrapped gifts brought smiles and wonder to the faces of children bravely battling cancer.

Entertainment from the RUSH Dance group and Ziha Gabio added vibrancy to the event, creating cherished memories for everyone involved.

The celebration continued on December 7 at Pius XII College, where Cancervants-Iloilo and its sponsors created a space of unity and warmth.

The gathering was filled with laughter, shared stories, and the Christmas spirit as guardians, students, and sponsors came together to support the young warriors.

These meaningful events were made possible by the unwavering generosity of sponsors, whom Cancervants-Iloilo deeply thanked for their contributions.

“May this event remind our brave young fighters and their families that they are not alone,” the organization shared.

They added that the spirit of Christmas should inspire perseverance, hope, and healing, emphasizing that countless individuals care and are committed to supporting their journey.
