BACOLOD City – An estimated P2,040,000 worth of suspected shabu was seized in a buy-bust operation at Purok Lampirong, Barangay 2 here on Thursday.

Police Major Sherlock Gabana, head of Police Station 2, identified the suspect as Arthuro Geronimo, 36, of Barangay Singcang-Airport here.

Police recovered during the operation 120 grams of suspected shabu, and P34,000 boodle or fake money used in the bust.

Gabana said Geronimo is considered a high value individual because of the big volume of illegal drugs seized from his possession.

Gabana said that the suspect reportedly distributes his supply within the city.

Geronimo refused to reveal his source of drugs, the station commander said, adding that the suspect was uncooperative.

The suspect is detained at the police station.

Meanwhile, Police Lieutenant Colonel Ariel Pico, public information officer of Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO), said that it was the biggest drug recovery of the city police force since the start of the community quarantine here in March.
