BACOLOD CITY – A 54-year-old carpenter was arrested in a buy-bust operation at Purok Cereza 2, Barangay 27, early Friday.

The suspect, identified as alias “Milo,” allegedly yielded 25 grams of suspected shabu valued at PHP170,000.

According to police, the suspect sold a sachet of shabu to an undercover police agent for PHP1,000 during the operation.

Police Capt. Sherwin Galupar, head of Police Station 10, said the operation was launched after a series of surveillance and validation efforts.

Galupar added that authorities are currently checking the suspect’s background to determine if he has any previous offenses.
