Iloilo City residents and tourists can now enjoy a more convenient travel experience to Bangkok, Thailand, thanks to the direct flight launched by Cebu Pacific (CEB).

CEB, the Philippines’ leading carrier, launched its direct Iloilo-Bangkok (Don Mueang) flights on March 31, further enhancing Iloilo’s international connectivity and offering travelers from Western Visayas seamless access to one of Southeast Asia’s most vibrant destinations.

Operating thrice weekly—every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday—this route positions CEb as the sole airline offering non-stop flights between Iloilo and Bangkok’s Don Mueang International Airport.

The Iloilo-Bangkok route is CEB’s third international connection from Iloilo, complementing its existing direct flights to Hong Kong and Singapore.

“With the official launch of our direct Iloilo-Bangkok flights, we’re thrilled to provide travelers from Western Visayas with a direct gateway to one of Southeast Asia’s most popular destinations,” said Xander Lao, CEB President and Chief Commercial Officer.

“This milestone not only strengthens our presence in the region but also reaffirms our commitment to offering travelers more accessible options to reach dream destinations,” he added.

The airline has been flying to Bangkok since its first Manila-Bangkok route in 2006 and now serves both Don Mueang and Suvarnabhumi airports from hubs in Manila, Clark, Cebu, Iloilo, and Davao.

To celebrate the route’s launch, Cebu Pacific offered promotional fares starting at PHP 1 one-way base fare, exclusive of fees and surcharges, for bookings made between February 12 and 16, 2025, covering travel from March 31 to October 25, 2025.

With this new route, travelers from Iloilo can look forward to experiencing Bangkok’s rich culture, from its ancient temples and bustling markets to its world-renowned cuisine.

CEB currently operates flights to 37 domestic and 26 international destinations across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
