Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), the Philippines’ leading carrier, is expanding its international network with the launch of flights between Manila and Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
The new route comes with the airline’s signature Piso Sale, offering passengers a chance to explore southern Taiwan’s largest city at an affordable price.
Starting August 16, 2024, Cebu Pacific will operate flights between Manila and Kaohsiung three times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Kaohsiung is the second destination Cebu Pacific serves in Taiwan, adding to its existing twice-daily flights to Taipei, Taiwan’s capital and economic center.
From May 30 to June 13, 2024, travelers can book one-way base fare flights to Kaohsiung for as low as PHP 1, excluding fees and surcharges. The travel period for this promotion is from August 16 to October 25, 2024.
“We are very excited to launch direct flights to the wonderful city of Kaohsiung. With the growing interest among passengers to travel to new destinations, we hope that this launch will encourage them to add another destination to their itinerary or cross off one they’ve been looking to visit,” said Xander Lao, Cebu Pacific President and Chief Commercial Officer.
With the new Manila-Kaohsiung flights, travelers can enjoy cruising along the city’s famous Love River, experiencing the Hakka culture in Meinong, or visiting the Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts. The city is known for its outdoor attractions and cultural landmarks, making it an ideal destination for various types of travelers.
Passengers can use their existing Travel Funds to book flights and avail themselves of other add-ons. Cebu Pacific offers multiple payment options, including payment centers, credit or debit cards, and e-wallets, ensuring convenience for all passengers.
Cebu Pacific currently operates flights to 35 domestic and 25 international destinations across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East. The addition of the Manila-Kaohsiung route reinforces Cebu Pacific’s commitment to providing affordable and accessible travel options for Filipinos and international travelers alike.
