Carlos Hilado Memorial State College (CHMSC) will host the 2020 Regional State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association (RSCUAA) Sportsfest and Conference on February 1 – 6, 2020.
The RSCUAA Sportsfest and Conference is participated by more than 2,800 athletes and coaches from 13 participating SUCs; Aklan State University (ASU), Capiz State University (CapSU), Carlos Hilado Memorial State College (CHMSC), Central Philippine State University (CPSU), Guimaras State College (GSC), Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISATU), Iloilo State College of Fisheries (ISCOF), Northern Iloilo Polytechnic State College (NIPSC), Northern Negros State College of Science and Technology (NONESCOST), University of Antique (UA), University of the Philippines – Visayas (UPV), West Visayas State University (WVSU), and University of the Philippines-Visayas (UPV).
There are 20 sports events to be contested in 16 different sporting venues in the cities of Bacolod, Talisay, and Silay respectively.
The 20 sports events are Athletics, Arnis, Badminton, Baseball, Basketball, Beach and In-door Volleyball, Boxing, Chess, Dance Sports (Latin American and Modern Standard), Football, Futsal, Karatedo, Lawn Tennis, Pencak Silat, Sepak Takraw, Softball, Swimming, and Taekwondo.
The theme of the 2020 RSCUAA Sportsfest and Conference is Harnessing Human Development in SUCs through Sports, Culture, and Arts.
